iii) The Prince of Egypt (Dreamworks Animation)
iv) Exodus ( 20th Century Fox)
    v) Mary You will believe ( Aloe Entertainment)
    b) Son of God was influenced by the Gospels. It focuses on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
    c) The film Noah was influenced by the book of genesis specifically the story of the flood and the destruction of the whole world due to wickedness.
    d) The Prince of Egypt and Exodus was based on the book of Exodus. It was focused on the birth up bringing and adult life of Moses. The difference lays in the execution and the length of each film. The prince of Egypt was an animation with a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The film exodus had in person actors and was 2 hours and 30 minutes. Thus it when in to a little more detail than the animated version.
    e) Mary You Will Believe is based on the gospels as well. It looks more into Mary’s life as a child teenager and young mother. It takes you along the life of Jesus from the perspective of his mother. It will be out during Christmas of next year. **(Re)Writings Badge:**

**To earn Heresy Badge:** 1) On your personal wiki page, find and provide a definition of "Gnosticism"; 2) Find and provide a definition of "heresy"; 3) Imagine that the collection of heretical texts you hid in a rock cave had been found - create a list of five defenses as to why they should not be destroyed
    1) Gnosticism is a heretical movement that occurred mostly during the 2nd-century Christian Church and partially of pre-Christian origin. Gnostic doctrine taught that the world was created and ruled by a lesser divinity, and that Christ was an emissary of the remote supreme divine being. Those who believe this doctrine believe in esoteric knowledge which enables the redemption of the human spirit.
    2) Heresy is the either having the opinion or believing certain things that are opposite thought than that of the Orthodox religious and Christian doctrines
    3) -The text that are hidden are a basis of a new belief system. They may not be the same but they definitely should be respected.
    - The texts are also a record of history and through this human can avoid repeating fatal errors.
    - The texts will give a different perspective to what was occurring at the time.
    - In turn; these records can help accurately piece together series of events that have holes in them.

Polyptych of the Apocalypse By Jacobello Alberegno
There are a few similarities amongst these images. They are all hand crafted pieces that speak to a particular section of the book of Revelations. They all have a certain mood and emotion to them as well. Along with this is a movement around a centered focal point.
With that being said each artist interpretation of the section in question was depicted differently. The Crowned Virgin was done in black and white. This may be to show the gloom that the bottom, dark and dragons filled vastness held. This is in contrast to the bright radiance of the crowned ascending virgin above.
As for the image entitled the River of Life he main focus is the floating man(God).Everyone is moving towards him be it by land or river. Flutes are also being played .the image is very graceful and shows the positive light that book of Revelations have.
The Polyptych of the Apocalypse are made with way more vivid colors with the focal point of God on the throne with his lamb in his lap.

Gnosticism: a group of ancient heresies, stressing escape from this world through the acquisition of esoteric knowledge.
Heresy:any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs, customs, etc.

    1. It gives people a different perspective on characters of the bible
    2. It lightens the mood of the seriousness the bible portrays, rather than "God shall smite thee" it could be "God shall turn you into a pillow"
    3. Anyone can read and enjoy them, it's not something you praise and recite, it's simply for entertainment.
    4. It explains what isn't said in the bible, like a deleted scene
    5. It doesn't go against anyone in the bible, its simply an add on to their story

India: Manu and Matysa Christian Flood Myth: Noah Ark Malaysia: Temuan
The similarities between the three happen to be a huge flood that killed everyone and everything in it way but of course having a few survive to tell the story. The difference are crazy between all three. For Manu and Matysa, Matysa was a sea God who forearms a human named Manu. And the people on the ship have a mission to collect all the grain on the ship. While In Noah's Ark, he was called by God to collect all animals by twos. And then build a big boat to survive the great flood that wiped out everyone else. And as for Temuan, the flood happened because of "Celau" which means that they angered there Gods and Ancestors. I just find it really fascinating that all these stories happen to deal with a flood. Weird.
